Monster Creation Time
Sheldon High School's Family Consumer Science class is working on a felt monster project with the Kindergartners at East Elementary.
High School students read a story to the Kindergarteners about monsters and then had the kindergarteners set out to draw their own monsters.
Once the monster was drawn, the high school students took the drawing and are currently working on turning it into a felt monster for their sewing unit.

Lab Time!
Students in Mr. Anderson's chemistry class just completed a lab on a combustion reaction with magnesium ribbon. They identified the ionic compounds that were made through the reaction.

FFA Feeds Local Farmers
Sheldon High School FFA students put together meals that were then delivered to local elevators to be given to our area farmers during harvest.

Meet the Club!
One of the many clubs offered at the Sheldon Highschool is FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes).
During intervention every other Thursday, students meet in Mrs. Keepers room with their peers and their club advisors: Mrs. Keepers, Mr. Kunert, and Mr. Oetken.
Students spend time getting to know each other, planning events, playing games and talking about their beliefs.

Students in Mrs. Wenthe's Spanish 4 classes spent their time in class making some famous Spanish snacks: churros and horchata. Students brought in the ingredients and worked together to make these treats to share.

English 9 students are working on improving their descriptive and creative writing skills. As way to practice, students traveled around the room to write descriptive sentences about a variety of different pictures.
