Sheldon High School Cheer Tryouts Are Coming Up!
Whether you have previous cheer experience or are excited to try something new, we encourage students to step out and give it a shot!

Practices: Monday & Tuesday, March 9 & 10 • 4-5pm
Tryouts: Wednesday, March 11 • 4pm

Sheldon High School students made the most of the beautiful weather on Monday by taking their learning outside and enjoying some fresh air while they studied.

Sheldon Middle School 7th & 8th Graders Explore Careers
Erica Engelhaupt of Sanford Sheldon joined us to talk about athletic training and the work she does both in the clinic and with our high school athletes. She even led a volunteer through a typical knee injury assessment, explaining what she looks for during the evaluation. Since many of these students will work closely with her if they participate in high school athletics, it was a great opportunity to better understand her role.

Show your support for our All-State Speech and State Wrestling participants before they head off to state!

Goodie bags are available in the high school office—feel free to stop by and add any fun treats or items you think they’ll enjoy on their trip. Let’s send them off knowing the entire community is cheering them on!

As part of the High School Renovation Project, E. 4th Street in front of the high school will be closed to all through traffic tomorrow, Tuesday, February 17.

🚧 Students are asked to use the East/Activities entrance
🚧 Parent drop-off and pick-up will take place in the East Parking Lot

Congratulations to Orab senior Jack Leng on signing his letter of intent to continue his football career at Wayne State University!

Jack’s dedication, hard work, and commitment to the game have truly paid off. From countless hours in the weight room to Friday night lights, he has represented Orab football with pride, determination, and heart. We are so proud to see him take the next step in his athletic and academic journey.

Congratulations to our Orab boys wrestlers on their outstanding performances at District Wrestling today! We are proud of your hard work, determination, and the way you represented Orab wrestling!

A special shoutout to Mitchel Fischer, who qualified for Boys State Wrestling with a 2nd-place finish in his weight class!

Great job as well to Jack Leng, Kolt Roos, and Ayden Miller on earning 3rd-place finishes in their brackets.

Congratulations to our 2026 Pop-A-Shot Shoot-Off Champions, Thomas Bunkers and Aylah Sauer! These two rose to the top and earned their titles with impressive shooting skills and consistency. What a fun and competitive season it has been!

Thank you to everyone who participated throughout the season and helped make this event so much fun. The energy and friendly competition made it a highlight of the year.
