Senator Chuck Grassley visited Sheldon High School as part of his 99-county tour. The President pro tempore of the United States Senate answered student questions on topics ranging from life lessons to the recent government shutdown and practicing constructive politics. He also met with members of the National Honor Society, the Student Leadership Team, and the Orab Leadership Class.
A fun moment from the visit included recreating a photo with Mr. Joseph Kunert, who interned in Senator Grassley’s office in 2021. The two recreated a photo from that time.
