
East Elementary second graders recently completed a March Book Madness unit. They read books, did activities with the books, and voted for their favorite. The Leaf Thief by Alice Hemming was voted the favorite book from the bracket. To end the unit, the students played some basketball activities with some of the high school basketball players!

Sheldon Middle School students attended the Sergeant Floyd Region National History Day Competition at Northwestern College in Orange City, on Tuesday, March 11.
The annual competition allows students to conduct original historical research on topics of their choosing and present their findings in creative formats like documentaries, exhibits, performances, websites, or historical papers.











Come check out the 3rd Annual Dordt University Juried Art Showcase. It is open to the public at the Campus Center Art Gallery from March 17th-April 3rd.

Congratulations to Adriana Winkel (pregame), Natilie Schmith (kick), and Audrina Ramirez (pom) on being selected for the 2025 All Iowa Honor Dance Team! They performed at the Mid American Energy RecPlex Complex in Des Moines on Friday and Saturday.


7th and 8th grade wrapped up their Pickleball Unit with the Annual Pickleball Championships. Taking 1st place was Ike Thiner for 7th, and Makaiah Vermeer and Andie De Groot for 8th!
