2nd-4th graders at East Elementary participated in a Book Mark Contest!
Students designed a book mark and then the winning designs were printed for the students in the library to use for the rest of the school year.

Save the Date for the East Elementary Winter Concert
December 5 - Grades 1-4 Concert, 6:30pm HS Gym

What to wear
Please have your musician dress up for this event.
Concert Format
Students will meet at 6:00pm the night of their concert. A high school classroom will be assigned for each section to use as a homebase. This will be where you can drop off and pick up your child. This is also where they can keep their hats and coats.
All students will all perform in the gym for one BIG concert!

Sheldon Orab Internship students spent the semester interning with different businesses in town to learn more about a career and different day to day responsibilities.
Brinda McCabe Nuckols is in Orab Internship this semester and she is doing her internship at Holly and Co. with Holly Kamstra.
Kayley Kreykes is also an Orab Intern this semester and she is doing her internship at Lavish Lox with Amanda Fedders.

The Monsters are Done!
The Sheldon High School FCS class practiced their sewing skills by creating monsters for students at East Elementary. Elementary students created a monster drawing and then the high school students took that drawing and turned it into a stuffed monster.
Thanks to Mrs. Popkes FCS class for this fun collaborative project!

Mrs. Fischer’s 2nd graders and Mrs. Fitzgerald's classrooms get together weekly to do reading buddies. Students get to listen and read to their buddy each week. Our students love getting to meet with their reading buddies to show off their skills and enjoy good books together.
