Our biology students had an incredible experience on Friday as they went on a fascinating tour of TransOva in Sioux Center! During the tour, our students delved into TransOva's toolkit, discovering the incredible processes behind their mission. From embryo transfer and in vitro fertilization to sorted semen, genetic preservation, cloning, and genetic engineering, they witnessed cutting-edge techniques in action! An added unique and festive touch: students learned about embryo parts and created embryo Christmas ornaments, decorating a tree with their scientific creations! What an eye-opening experience, giving our students a glimpse into the world of advanced reproductive technologies and their role in feeding our growing world! #LeadOn #orabs #sheldonorabs #transovea #genetictesting #biology #learning

Kindergarten learned about Gingerbreads this week. They have read many different stories about Gingerbread Men, girls, and Ninjabreads too. They even went on a hunt for their cookies, as they were taken by the fox. They enjoyed decorating and then of course eating them. #LeadOn #orabs #Sheldonorabs
