The Champion Network is a mentorship program which links high schoolers with elementary students.
The high school mentors, called Champions, are trained and given experiences in leadership and relationship building while the younger students, called Young Orabs, are given role models who make a positive impact in their lives.
Champions & Young Orabs meet weekly to have fun, to build their relationship, and to learn ways to be Outstanding Orabs.
Throughout the first semester, 11 Seniors were matched with 11 East Students. We hope to add more Champions & Young Orabs to the program for the second semester!

Kindergarten learned about Gingerbreads this week. They have read many different stories about Gingerbread Men, girls, and Ninjabreads too. They even went on a hunt for their cookies, as they were taken by the fox. They enjoyed decorating and then of course eating them.
