IT’S SMENCIL TIME!
It is time again for one of our students’ favorite events---E4E SMENCIL Sales! Smencils are scented graphite pencils made from 100% recycled newspapers. Each Smencil has a #2 graphite writing core and comes packaged in its own recyclable plastic freshness tube. They come in a variety of different scents. This year we are excited to also add SMICKERS to our sales! Smickers are incredibly UNIQUE scented stickers that look AND smell great!
Each Smencil and Smicker are $1 each.

The assembly at East Elementary this week was about Habit 6: Synergize.
Students and staff wore different color clothing and synergized to make a rainbow. Students also watched the Book, “The Crayon Box That Talked” which is about a box of crayons who learns the importance of working together.

The different color mats make the cars go in different speeds or directions. The students work in groups to code their cars to complete different challenges.

East Elementary celebrated 100 days of school with many fun 100 themed activities for the day.
Some students and teachers came dressed up like they were 100 years old, while others showed their creativity and wore shirts with 100 things on them.
Students counted 100 things, guessed what jars had 100 items in them, and enjoyed some 100 themed games in their classrooms.
East students are 100 days smarter and read to keep growing the rest of the year!
