The Orab Music Boosters will again be sponsoring Holiday Tablescapes Gala at the Crossroads Pavilion on Nov. 19th! Tickets can be purchased at the locations listed in the image included until Nov. 12 for viewing, a meal and dueling pianos to end the night!

Those planning to attend the Sheldon football playoff game at Southeast Valley on Friday night will need to purchase a ticket online at https://www.iahsaa.org/tickets/ . There is some construction in the area, so plan accordingly and give yourself extra time if possible.

Sheldon is set to host 3A Volleyball Regional Quarterfinal action on Monday, Oct. 18th vs. Okoboji starting at 7:00. As many of you are aware, the IHSAA (boys association) required online ticketing for all post-season events last year through Hometown Ticketing. The IGHSAU (girls union) is requiring some form of online ticketing this fall.
We have chosen to use Hometown for the girls games we host this year to match up with what will be required for the boys postseason games. Please note, other schools may choose to do ticketing through Varsity Bound or other programs.

Parent meeting for parents of students receiving Title I service in K-4 , Tuesday, October 19 @ 5:15 pm in the East Elementary library. Learn about the program, interventions and strategies to use at home.
School Picture Day is next Friday, October 8! Pictures will be taken during the school day as a class, so this will be without parents. A blue paper went home with each student along with the student ID which will be needed as a password to order prints online. There is no paper packets this year, you will have to order online.
2nd graders spread kindness after reading "A Little Spot of Kindness" by Diane Alber. They decorated the lunchroom and wrote a poem to read as they passed out "spots" and encouraged everyone to be kind at school and at home.

Friday, September 24 — ORANGE and BLACK Day Homecoming Pep Rally & Parade – 1:05 p.m. (HS GYM) 2:30 p.m. (Parade) FFA Tailgate supper — 5:00 p.m. (presale tickets available with Mr. Fox at the Highschool) Cheerleading Clinic Participants need to be at the field at 5:45 p.m. with performance at 6:00 p.m. HOMECOMING GAME vs West Lyon—7:00 p.m.
**Homecoming BRAG TAGS will be on sale at East Elementary starting Monday, September 20 from 8 a.m.- 8:15 a.m. for $1 each. You can purchase one on a necklace or one for the chain on your backpack. We will continue to sell daily until the tags are sold out. A limit of one tag per day please.
Excellence for East Carnival is BACK! The carnival is a fundraiser put on by the PTO group Excellence for East to raise money for the kids at East Elementary! It is going to be an exciting event! It will be held on September 25 5:00-7:30! Please see the attached flyer for details - food trucks, photo booth, petting zoo, carnival games and prizes! PLEASE JOIN US FOR THE FUN EVENING!
