Cool fall days like today are perfect to get comfortable and cozy up with a good book.
Students in Mrs. Sandbulte's 1st grade classroom partnered up today and read to each other around the room.
Tonight would be a great night to cozy up with your kids and read to them or listen to them read. Reading with your kids nightly can help them become more successful students.

"Team Up With a Good Book" was the theme today at East Elementary.
Students participated in reading activities in their classroom throughout the day. Each classroom also had a high school reader come read a story to them. The afternoon was spent out at the high school football field where students participated in different activities and watched a video on the new scoreboard where the high school students explained to them why reading is important!
Overall, "Team Up With A Good Book" was a great day!

Seeing the the friendships grow throughout the year is so powerful! “Reading Buddies” is definitely a highlight of the week for many students!
