Our 7th graders at Sheldon Middle School have been busy honing their teamwork and problem-solving skills with an activity called "Building Towers" from CS Unplugged!
In this hands-on experience, our students are working together to construct free standing towers using paper. It's not just about building structures; it's about collaboration, communication, and creative thinking!

The 7th graders have been working on solving equations. First the students drew models of equations, then used the Hands on Equations system to model them with manipulatives. This process helps students "see" the process when they need to solve using paper pencil.
