6th graders in Mrs. Simonsen's class put their critical thinking skills to the test with Lego coding! Students utilized the Lego for Education Spike Essential Kits to build a carnival game of their choice and then program it using block coding to communicate with the motor, light, color sensor, or gyro sensor, bringing their project to life. The kids in Mrs. Vogel's class have started a Brew Buggy at the Middle School. They offer hot drinks and breakfast bars to the teachers and 7th/8th grade students on Monday and Friday mornings.
