The Sheldon Community School District is lucky to have teachers that work hard each day to help our students learn, grow and have fun at school. Thank you teachers for the work you do each day to help our students.
The 6th graders at Sheldon Middle School participated in a STEM challenge in Mrs. Van Meeteren's classroom. The students had to design and build a device that could launch puff balls the farthest. Our students came up with some effective and creative devices!
Congratulations to four of our teachers that won the Prins Insurance Giveaway.
These teachers were nominated and won a $100 gift card to use for their classroom. Thank you to Prins Insurance for doing this giveaway.

Our Middle School welcomed back their students today with many fun activities to get the year started. The whole school gathered for the raising of the flag to start the day. The day also included a back to school assembly and specific grade level activities. A fun start to the year at the Middle School!
As we kick off the school year, please make sure you double check to make sure your child has their fees paid for.
This can be done on the parent portal or in the office buildings.

Middle School Practice will start Monday, August 22.
Today was a great day at Sheldon Community School District. Our staff was able to welcome students and families to the building for our open house. We will see everyone back on the first day of school on Tuesday, August 23!
Staff at all three district buildings were able to enjoy a "Sweet" start to their day thanks to Perspective Insurance in Sheldon.
Back to School Open House is today from 12-6 PM. We hope to see you there.
